Despite his appearance, the Manhasset resident said his presence at the Blue Dream Gala, which was hosted by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, does not mean he supports the presidential hopeful.

“I'm a registered Republican. I haven't switched my support to Vice President Biden, but I will be working to find a nominee to challenge Donald Trump because he's lost his mind and we've got to get someone here before we lose the election 2020,” Scaramucci told reporters.

Scaramucci, who moved to his multi-million dollar Manhasset mansion earlier this year, spent 11 days as President Donald Trump’s communications director, recently had his Twitter account suspended after insulting the commander-in-chief. He’s also engaged in a social media fight with Trump, calling his former boss “crazy and narcissistic.”

In response, Trump posted, “Nobody ever heard of this dope until he met me. He only lasted 11 days!”

Scaramucci was fired as White House comms director by then-Chief of Staff John Kelly after Scaramucci's profanity-laced diatribe against other members of the White House.

Though Scaramucci lasted just 11 days on the job, he remained loyal to Trump until the two had a falling last week after Scaramucci, who grew up in Port Washington, criticized Trump on HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher." Trump responded on Twitter, and Scaramucci has since stepped up his attacks on Trump both in TV interviews and on social media.
